Riley Mullins - Trumpet

Riley Mullins was born in Chicago, IL on July 2, 1966. He has worked with the Illinois Jacquet Big Band/Quintet (accompanying artists such as Ray Charles, Etta Jones, Clark Terry at Carnegie Hall). Riley has also performed with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra as well as Natalie Cole and Gerry Mulligan at Lincoln Center. Other artists he was worked with include the Louis Hayes Quintet (with/Curtis Fuller at Detroit at Montreaux Jazz Festival and the Cannonball Legacy Band), Roy Hargrove Big Band, Frank Foster Big Band, Ray Mantilla, David Murray Nonet, Cecil Brooks III and Matchbox Twenty.

Riley is featured on the albums "Big Train" by Wynton Marsalis with LCJO, "Louis At Large" - Louis Hayes Quintet, "The Candy Man" - Quintessential Lou, "For Those Who Love To Groove" - Cecil Brooks III, and Live at Sweet Basil's - Volumes 1 & 2.
